Zyxel announced partnership with Lifemote and Eye Networks

The new value-added service finds and fixes network issues before subscribers complain

Hsinchu Taiwan, 17 October 2018 – Zyxel Communications today announced it will debut its brand new WiFi analytics solution – empowering service providers in EMEA to eliminate WiFi glitches and deliver exceptional user experience – at Broadband World Forum 2018.

The new-to-market solution integrates cloud analytics and Artificial Intelligence with Zyxel residential gateways, helping service providers to detect and fix common home WiFi issues, such as environmental interference and glitches, even before subscribers become aware of them.

Once an issue has been detected in a home WiFi network, the solution makes automatic corrections where possible. It also presents service providers with reports for further action, from remote error correction to upselling opportunities. This allows service providers to deliver exceptional user experience at all times, increasing customer satisfaction and retention while reducing support costs.

“For ISPs, happy customers are the secret to achieving strong revenue,” said Chris Chou, Associate Vice President at Zyxel EMEA Broadband Business Unit. “In today’s ultra-connected world, end-users expect exceptional user experience 24-7 which means service providers cannot afford connectivity drop-outs or below-par speeds. Our new value-added WiFi analytics is the perfect solution for service providers looking to deliver high-speed, ubiquitous WiFi connectivity at all times in a smarter, easier, cost-effective way.”

Zyxel’s WiFi analytics solution is powered by the EyeSaaS Carat by Lifemote and is currently only available on DSL gateways for service providers in the EMEA region. Zyxel will work with several different partners in EMEA to deliver even more comprehensive solutions.

“At the moment, leading ISPs have excellent visibility right up to the home gateway, after which they’re effectively blind,” said Dr. Eren Soyak, Lifemote Co-Founder and CEO. “We believe that 2019 will be the year they’ll finally start extending that crystal clear vision inside the home network.”

The WiFi analytics solution will be demonstrated alongside Zyxel’s new portfolio of next-generation solutions at D107, Hall 21B at Broadband World Forum in Messe Berlin Germany from Tuesday, October 23 to Thursday, October 25.
